Personal finance is all about choices, and recently I had a conversation with some coworkers that made me realize that things that I consider obvious choices are anything but. So today, I am going to offer you the most important questions in personal finance, because they are all based on very realistic scenarios. Important questions that only you can answer! I think you could handle the IQ loss too. My brother in law made fun of me for months when I said I would take money, but I really think that you would have to be pretty far below average for it to start making a difference. It would also be interesting to be a math genius, but I know a lot of them, and they are very confusing to be around.

To your suggestion, we will consider adoption in the future. We haven't pursued adoption or foster care yet because we aren't in a super stable life position yet. The biggest thing for us is that we want to feel confident that we live in a place where public resources (schools and psychologists) help set up foster kids for success, and North Carolina is not a place where that can happen (kids are often 300+ miles from biological parents, foster to adopt is uncommon, and biological parents rarely have support in getting from the point where they lost the kids to where they can get them back.

Good job finding a loop hole on #3! I wear full skin and eye makeup when I go on dates with my husband and eye makeup during business events, so I do have the same loophole.

I'm with you on most of these. It seems like dumber people sometimes have more fun, anyways. Not that I'm insanely intelligent.

The number 5 question was the hardest, since it's impossible to imagine but it is pretty interesting to see the responses.

Fun post, enjoyed thinking about these questions. Though number 3 was a bit awkward for me.

1. We have 3 kids, so adding 3 more would not be a problem, oh and $750? bring it!

Would the age of the kids matter at all? I think it would be tough to take on 3 more babies just as you're preparing to kick the older kids out of the nest (gently of course).
